Privacy

This covers the PWE pages on pwestudio.online and the AI assistant on them. Operated by PWE Group Pty Ltd (ABN 55 606 664 546), Melbourne, Australia. PWE Studio, the studio management product on the same domain, has its own privacy policy.

When you browse

• We keep anonymous visit statistics: which page was viewed, and a few kinds of click (the email link, the phone link, a link to a product site, sending a message). No cookies, nothing that identifies you, and no IP address. If your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is recorded. These records are kept for 90 days.
• The site is delivered through Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare handles technical details of each visit, such as IP address and browser type, under its own privacy policy, for security and troubleshooting. Our own server keeps no access log that includes IP addresses; only when a request fails are those details written to an error log of limited size, where the oldest entries are deleted as it fills.

When you use the AI assistant

• What is kept: the questions you type, the assistant's answers, the page you were on, and the time.
• Abuse limits: we limit how often one IP address can ask. What we keep is a processed form that cannot be turned back into the address.
• Who answers: answers are generated by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, which we use through its API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms for API customers, it does not use this content to train its models by default. The processing that generates an answer takes place outside Australia.
• What the answers are: the assistant answers only from what is on this site, and it can be wrong. It does not give legal, financial or credit advice.
• Please do not enter sensitive details such as identity numbers, bank cards or health information.
• In your browser we store only a session number and whether the window is open, so the conversation follows you between pages. Both are gone when you close the tab.
• How long: conversations are deleted after 90 days. If you sent a message from a conversation, it is kept with that message.

When you send us a message

• What is kept: your name, email, phone (optional), project type and what you wrote, along with the page you sent it from and the time. If you started from the AI assistant, that conversation too.
• Abuse limits: we limit how often one IP address can send. What is kept with the message is a processed form that cannot be turned back into the address.
• What it is for: replying to you and following up this enquiry. Not for bulk marketing, not sold, not given to third parties.
• Who sees it: the message is emailed to our work inbox (provided by Google) and read by people at PWE.
• How long: 24 months after the last contact.

Where the data is

Conversations and messages are stored in Cloudflare's database service. We ask for the data to be kept in the Oceania region; Cloudflare is a global network, and processing may take place outside Australia. The assistant's answers are generated by Anthropic outside Australia.

Your choices

• If you do not use the AI assistant or send a message on the site, neither kind of record exists. You can phone or email us instead.
• To see, correct or delete your conversation or message: write to info@pwestudio.site with the approximate time and the email you gave. We act within 10 business days.
• If you are unhappy with how we handled it, tell us first. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Changes to this page

When something changes we update this page and the date above. The footer of every page shows the site's build date and version.
